R&D Projects

As part of exploration and R&D, many of the projects I have worked on are confidential. These projects have taught me the importance of collaboration, experimentation, and feedback when it comes to entering the market. Projects involve teamwork with internal teams as well as external vendors. My involvement in these projects includes research, ideation, creative, and executing market experiments.

Other projects I have had a role in include working with packaging to optimize language on product boxes, utilizing start-ups to reach R&D goals, as well as collecting information about past events and conferences that can be sent to key stakeholders of the company.

Brand Document

Working for R&D allows me to work for First Wave, the Innovation Lab at Delta Faucet Company. To better inform our vendors of how ideas make it to the market, a brand document was created for clarity. My task was to organize a new document explaining our processes and other brand material using former, similar documents. This project allowed me to better understand the process our ideas go through as well as explain those processes to vendors.

FAQ's for First Wave

First Wave has developed a website that features all of our current and past market ideas that might intrigue a consumer. These products require frequently asked questions to better inform a shopper of what they are buying – even if the product isn't tangible. As new products emerge, I have began to write these questions that I and a potential customer might have. Assisted by the product managers, these questions will be featured with their respective product.

Copy Review

Working with one of our vendors, they helped supply a content calendar for the First Wave brand on a monthly basis. After exposure to this monthly content, I was tasked with reviewing the copy and having the first set of eyes on it. Through this process, I looked for areas we could create concise language, confirm brand terms were being used properly, and overall grammar and spelling to ensure that our brand standards were met. As a marketing team, we developed frequency and types of posts that align with our brand.
